I randomly picked this off of Hoopla just wanting a light and silly romance. I did not realize until I was a bit into the book that it was part of series for which I had read (or more accurately DNF'd) the rather bad first book, but by then I was a little engaged in it. Ferrell is still not much of a writer but I liked the story and the characters a whole lot more in this than the last. I still don't buy the rush of people happily packing up the truck and moving from LA to Iowa, but sure, let's say that could happen, that cheap real estate would seal that deal. It was what I wanted, light sweet, and hot, just like I like my herbal tea. ( )

Was not as interesting as the description made it out to be. Dropped the series by chapter 8 but will most likely pick up the series again in the future. ( )
