Fine YA however tries too hard to cover elements like mental health without the appropriate depth. Leave that type of narrative/topic to someone with more ability - like Kate Russell (My Dark Vanessa). ( ) This one was different, it took me until halfway in to really get into the book. I liked that it focused on the families, especially the sons, of astronauts, and what they go through as the parents prepare to be on the launch to Mars. The reluctance of the characters being in the spotlight, the struggle to fit in, the struggle with social media, plays out through the story. I liked how the relationship between the two boys blossomed without the fanfare from others. It was just accepted, as is, which is the way it should be. The side-story with Deb was good but a little distracting. The message that came across was to be careful with social media and those who run the platforms. Just because they befriend you doesn't mean they are your friend. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
