A solid YA Mystery— a little predictable, the writing a little stilted, and the plot kinda holey at times. Even so, I got into it at certain points and I liked the duality of the characters. ( ) Misfit Amelia Fisher just lost a tennis match to the popular, perfect Sophie Graham. The the skies open up and pouring rain starts coming down. On the drive home, Amelia's car gets stuck and hooded man tries to wrest her from her car, kidnapping her. In her efforts to escape, Amelia runs out into the middle of the road and is hit by an oncoming car driven by Sophie. The crash causes Amelia and Sophie to switch bodies, the body of Amerlia lying in a coma while Amelia in Sophie's body has fewer injuries. However, Amelia knows what she saw before the impact and is out to find out the truth, much to her (Sophie's) parents dismay. The body switching is an interesting concept executed quite well by sisters Lisa Leighton and Laura Stropki. Much of the book explores Amelia's feelings as she inhabits Sophie's body--the reality that Sophie's seemingly idyllic life isn't so idyllic, missing her real mother and sister. There are twists and turns, some fast pacing, some slower pacing but all in all a frun and rewarding story. Stay with it. So I dont think I have read a book with so many twists and turns in my life. It wasnt an easy read and it wasnt easy to figure out. But two school tennis rivals end up having an accident and the one is hurt really badly. The other gets out of the hospital but for a few days isn't herself. She realizes she is her tennis rival. She gathers clues and starts piecing them together. After a few days shes in another accident and ends up back to being herself. I wont spoil the rest for you. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
