I was pleasantly shocked at this portion of this particular course because reading this book gave me huge steps in the right direction on ideas and tools that I can directly use in my future practice as a Social Worker. I didn't believe when I started that this book would help me find any useful ways to help the clients I would come in contact with, but after completing it I realize that it gave me many tools, like a contingency contract, that I will be able to directly use to help others in the Social Work Profession.
If you are an individual that is or is considering going into the Social Work field this is a book you need to pick up along with William Glassers' book called Choice Theory. These two theories will provide useful information and help you to be the best possible Social Worker you can be. ( )
