It presents a false sense of security that can easily be broken. Raven is slowly learning the error of her ways. All it takes is a forbidden attraction and a true life prince to have her breaking all the rules. Is the cost worth the risk? CD Reiss makes temptation a top priority. Prince Roman is a sensual delight that is unpredictable, wicked and short. Spice up the bookshelf with this hot little number. Raven (from King of Code) has a new job as VP of the HR department at Alexander Burke's company. They're installing a new compliance system to monitor sexual harassment, and Roman Bianchi is the outside attorney in charge of the implementation audits. Roman and Raven are combustible together, but both can get fired if they get together. They decide to try for one night, but.... I enjoy Ms. Reiss's writing and I loved King of Code. This was a cute novella; Roman and Raven are a great couple. I don't want to spoil it, but the ending didn't make much sense to me with how Marie used Roman. Still, it's a quick read but might have been better as a longer story. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Its a pretty standard work-place romance, nothing out of the ordinary happens. I did like that the heroine is bright and in a high level career herself, not just a poor girl being seduced by a rich guy. They are equals in business. The only problem is the binding non-fraternization policy.
I listened to it on my drive to Mexico last week. It went quick, and is going to be archived because I probably won't read it again.
