My name is Arizona Smoke, and I'm the proud owner of a house haunted by my dead Gram, best friend to a cocktail dress loving werewolf, and apparent soul mate to four plumbers who also happen to be elemental dragons. Besides rippling pectorals, tattoos, and â?¦ uh, nice, long pipes, the guys also have control of the elements. Supernatural law (whoever heard of such a thing anyway?) dictates that since I stumbled upon the guys in their alternate forms, I have to marry them. All four of them. Oh, and apparently one lousy (okay, awesome) night of sex means that I'm an elemental, tooâ??and no amount of magical penicillin can cure this disease. All I wanted was hot running water and toilets that flushed, but now I'm dealing with monsters lurking in the sewers, supernatural politics, and four penniless (but totally hot) plumbers living in my crumbling old Victorian. I'm Ari Smoke, wine aficionado, ex-barista, and a girl who is completely out of her element.Having four hot husbands is nice â?¦ but the death threats, not so much.… (más)

Elements of Mischief is perhaps the strangest book I have ever read. Raunchy (seriously-its a 5 flame read for sure!), funny, and filled with strange paranormal creatures, this book had me rolling my eyes at the bad "dad jokes", but totally engaged (which took me by surprise for sure!)

Arizona's grandma dies and she inherits the house. Said house is hella old and in major disrepair. She has no working toilets! She calls a plumber and the rest is history! She doesn't know about the magical, supernatural world before being thrust into it and then finding out the entire world around her is magical. Her best friend is a slutty werewolf and the 4 hot plumbers are elementals.

Elements of Mischief is a reverse harem story, so Arizona has 4 (maybe more....;) ) soulmates that she is now linked to. This activates her power as a spirit elemental and she is thrust into a world of danger and intrigue. But, the perks include having her 'pipes cleaned' by her 4 hot plumbers (yeah, there are SO MANY plumber puns...). Then her judgmental grandma comes back to haunt/help her, and she finds out a lot about who she really is (aside from being a total commitaphobe)!

Like I said, this is a 5 flame read for sure. Its erotic romance. In between the erotic romance reverse harem plot line is the hilarious jokes and strange PNR world that James and Stunich have created. Oddly, this book totally worked for me. But, I will say it again-its a level 5, so its not going to be everyone's cup of tea. But, if you are okay with erotica, reverse harems, an insane amount of puns, a werewolf who loves pink PVC, and a slut shaming grandma ghost, Elements of Mischief might just be the most enjoyable story you read!

 • POV: 1st (all Arizona)

 • Tears: no

 • Trope: reverse harem, magic

 • Triggers: none

 • Series/Standalone: series

 • Cliffhanger:
yes!
• HEA:
ends on a pretty big cliffy!
[rating-report]

Loving My Pack by Lane Whitt, Hacking Darkness by Marissa Farrar, Love Potion by Ariel Kimber...then you will probably like Elements of Mischief!

*Honestly, I just want to read a reverse harem. Ohohohoho.

*Ari should have shouted in their faces: "Do I get a choice!?!"

*Really, those assholes needn't strong-arm her into the quint. What happened to wooing and courting? ( )
