The reading selections were interesting enough, but the editor missed an easy opportunity to increase the reader's experience. He provides no background on the authors, or even citation of the source and the year of publication. We thus have no sense of why these readings were chosen. There is further evidence of lazy editing: one excerpt was block pasted from another source, but the page numbers were not removed. In short, this deserves one star, but the sections themselves are mostly interesting, so I gave it another. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
This text contains a number of timeless essays from several classic (and mostly out of print) works focusing on the love of books, collecting books, organizing one's library, and how books become lost over time. It is a judicious selection on bibliomania from such distinguished authors as Eugene Field, Christopher Morley, and Issac Disraeli. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
