Emotional, appealing and spellbinding are the perfect description of the imaginative webs she spins with her alluring tales of triumph over tragedy. Her Renegades are easy on the eyes, potent to the soul and addictive to the hormones. These tall drinks of water may look fierce but looks can be deceiving. Temptation, Loyalty and Compassion are just as important to these alpha warriors. Rendezvous is the latest edition to the Renegades series. Keaton is renegade through and through. Dedicated to his friends but tough as nails when it counts.Brooke's tenacious spirit and optimistic attitude has proven to be the biggest asset to her sometimes rocky life. Enter curveball. There is a haunting quality to Rendezvous. How far is to far to go in the name of love? Sacrifice, second chances and sensuality shouldn't go together but in Brooke and Keaton's case they mesh well. Always in a typical "judge a book by its cover" situation Keaton Holt has till now taken advantage of the women who have approached him and given freely of themselves.s He's explored a myriad of experiences with these adventurous women but now he wants something more substantial and he can't seem to figure out why he's always attracted the "wrong" kind of girl.

The only woman who has only ever seen him for himself is Brooke Dempsey, but they never really got a chance to see where things would go for them. So when he finds he once again and so unexpectedly too since she had been on his mind for a while, he's ready to grab on to her with both hands.

Brooke has the most complicated life ever. Her only focus right now is to make enough money to support what is left of her family; getting her sister through nursing school and finding the best treatment for her young nephew's medical condition. Then and only then can she think about herself. But now her pain in the butt, make her life a living hell boss has her sights set on Keaton and Brooke can't risk losing her heart as well as her job. And so it's going to have to be the occasional secret rendezvous with Keaton or then nothing at all.

I haven't read the entire series but it really didn't matter. You can't help but like both Keaton and Brooke. ( )

I love, love, love the Renegades! I have been hooked since book one! When Keaton met Brooke in Relentless, I knew they were going to be a hot couple. That one kiss on the beach sealed the deal.

Fast forward one year and a whole lot of heartbreak. Keaton is wrapping a shoot in Austin when he happens upon a café after swearing off the bimbos at the bar. In this café sits the exact image of Brooke, what Keaton thinks is Brooke.

As their story of second chance love and secret Rendezvous develops, we learn why Brooke left in a hurry, why they cannot be together, and what she sacrifices for love.
