Have you ever wondered why people come to America? Refugees and Migrants explains to the readers why people leave their countries that students may be unaware of. This story also shows students what challenges those people encountered through their journey to America. I think this story is great for student to see what people go through to get to American and to see that this really is a great country to live in and a lot of people are trying to get her and their countries aren’t as great because they are facing a lot of issues in their own country. Refugees and Migrants, this book gives students the reasons they may be unaware of for people to move from other countries. It's an insightful way to have students really understand the challenges that others go through. While being very informative it still keeps the student friendly language and opens up the conversation in the classroom to why we should be accepting of everyone. Refugees and Migrants gives reasons why people move from other countries. It also touches some of the challenges and obstacles they may face along the way. This book is great for middle school to promote acceptance and understanding. I enjoyed how this book was formatted as a child friendly way to discuss the controversial topic of immigration. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
