He told the ghost to be quiet, but he just wouldn't. He couldn't get any sleep; he was so tired in the morning. He keep thinking about how he could keep the ghost quiet. He finally found a way to keep the ghost quiet and they both got what they want. They compromised and Jackson got to sleep and the ghost got their toys. This is a cute little story about Jackson moving into his new home. Every night he goes to bed, there is something making noise that keeps him from getting a good night's sleep, first it was a ghost, then the boogey monster, and finally the pixie. This book has a hidden meaning that things are not always as they appear and it also teaches problem solving and resolving issues. After Jackson moved into his new house, he wasn't able to sleep due to all the noise from his neighbors, the ghost in the attic, the Boogey monster in the basement, or the pixie in his piano. Three nights later, Jackson finds an activity for each of his noisy neighbors to do at night so he can finally get a good night's rest. The next morning, he wakes up to 3 new friends. This was a goofy book. Kids would definitely appreciate this book for its humor, like Jackson putting ketchup on his toast from being too tired or just from how the constant problems Jackson ran into when trying to sleep. This was definitely a cute book and I think it would be a great bedtime story. A great way to incorporate this book into the classroom would be to use it for teaching onomatopoeias or even to just read this book to students after recess to get them to wind down a bit. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

I thought the charecters were all super adorable, and I giggled at all the noises they make. This book is very simple, but it's funny and would be great to read around Halloween. ( )
