Pretty bummed that the end of this thing felt rushed and under-developed.

Still a good series. And I'd still recommend. But I definitely didn't feel satisfied. ( )

🎧 REVIEW OF AUDIOBOOK 🎧

The last installment of the trilogy to the Original, and it was really well written. In Escape from Eden McClellan gave us Jurassic park vibes, in this one, we have Nazi Germany gas chamber vibes with harsh ruling over the people who have almost entirely given up on their freedom.

The story has a dark side that has you praying for the safety of all the characters and unfortunately not all of them make it, going down like the soldiers they had been.

McClellan done a great job of making her characters have depth and quirks, and though the romance became a bit tedious the story remained strong and in ways the romance helped show the progress of how certain characters changed through the story.

a good little trilogy that had a decent female protagonist! really enjoyed, if I had written these reviews earlier they would have been more filled out with better remembered points which i enjoyed and disliked but I have been to busy. ( )
