(  ) pcorrea3 | May 30, 2018 | Whether we were glimpsing the Eden and Coop of 14 years earlier, seeing their feud at the beginning of the present portion of the book, or enjoying their "friendship" and "rebound sex" later on (ha! as if it was ever just either of those things), Eden and Coop are absolutely magic together. There wasn't a single time when I would have entertained the possibility of them not having an HEA, no matter where their lives and careers wanted to take them. Though I know this series (Love Hurts) is a series of standalone books, I absolutely would not complain if we went back for a second visit to Newberry--Missy could use an HEA, after all (sure, she was with a hot fireman when her lousy ex returned that one time, but no mention of him was made other than that, so...) and I'd really, really, REALLY like to see someone give Ashley a much deserved b!tch slap. Just sayin'. Rating: 4 1/2 stars / A I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
