Throw in that this is a second chance romance and I’m hooked. Let it take place in the south with a hot southern hometown boy, and OH-MY-Lanta, I’m a goner! Coop Mayfield has got to the best boyfriend ever. That is until he wasn’t. When Eden Goodnight makes it big in the model and acting world, she left him behind. They haven’t as much as spoken in 14 years. Then she shows up at his house! But is it her house! WHOA! This is good. After coming to an understanding…. Well sort of, they are staying under the same roof. Things get said and done and HOLY SMOKES talk about HOT sexiness. Once they decide to hop in the bed, they burn it up. I love Sawyer Bennett, every single book she writes is AMAZING! Totally 5 stars! What’s next…. I’m sure it will be fabulous! Loved! Whether we were glimpsing the Eden and Coop of 14 years earlier, seeing their feud at the beginning of the present portion of the book, or enjoying their "friendship" and "rebound sex" later on (ha! as if it was ever just either of those things), Eden and Coop are absolutely magic together. There wasn't a single time when I would have entertained the possibility of them not having an HEA, no matter where their lives and careers wanted to take them. Though I know this series (Love Hurts) is a series of standalone books, I absolutely would not complain if we went back for a second visit to Newberry--Missy could use an HEA, after all (sure, she was with a hot fireman when her lousy ex returned that one time, but no mention of him was made other than that, so...) and I'd really, really, REALLY like to see someone give Ashley a much deserved b!tch slap. Just sayin'. Rating: 4 1/2 stars / A I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. In Jilted we're immediately drawn into the hollywood life style, which sadly, quite often it seems, to very shaky in the faithful department which Eden found out. She decides to go back to her roots for a break and meets up with an ex, Coop, she hasn't seen for an age. They were a tight couple fourteen years ago, but careers and ambition split them apart. They now are older and they've both changed but the attraction and feelings of good will towards one another is ever present. They at first had trouble and fights were the norm, which were quite amusing, but that didn't last long. And not every one was happy to see her return either. A brilliant story, I loved every page. Great chemistry and a wonderful storyline. Sawyer Bennett does it again, she's amazing! Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I do like Sawyer Bennett, and even though I go against most of the reviews, because I did not love it, it was not horrible. This book about Eden and Coop who were once young and in love, they were separated for 14 years. When Eden is humiliated by her fiance on a red carpet, she runs home, and is surprised by how the town is treating her. Both Coop and Eden have to deal with immature exes, and try to move on. I hated Ashley she needed to grow up. After misunderstanding, and after a much needed talk, they were able to work things out. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: Hollywood hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this fun, flirty second-chance romance from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, an aspiring starlet reconnects with her first love. Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancé at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Turns out the locals are worse than the paparazzi, and they all think she's turned into a spoiled brat. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden's going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind. Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that's what Coop's been telling himself all these years. As Eden's old flameâ??and the landscaper for her family's historic homeâ??Coop feels some responsibility for getting her out of her funk. But as soon as he sees that million-dollar smile, he's a goner. Soon they're making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden's lap, Coop just hopes she doesn't give up on a love that's meant to No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
