This story is about a fairy and a girl who become friends. The Queen of the fairies tells the girl that she must bring back a token of friendship that only a human could give. The fairy ends up being given a human tooth that the girl lost, and in exchange the girl gets a coin from the fairies. This story is a good example of fantasy because fairies do not exist.

This story is good for students entering 4th or 5th grade. The dialogue of the text is a bit advanced, but it introduces plot and setting to the reader. This story is about a girl who dreams about the tooth fairy and encounters a land in which she meets many other mystical creatures. The text is long and detailed and presents conversations between characters. This book is good for children who are transitioning from picture books to novels and chapter books. (
