In this book, a father wolf takes his son out into the woods to teach him how to howl. Big Wolf demonstrates, but every time Little Wolf tries to howl like his father, it turns into a song. The message in this book is to be yourself no matter what "proper form" is. Everyone is different and have unique qualities to share. This is a good read to first grades because they're starting to find their voice and self. There's no reason for everyone to act the same and do everything the same and this book does a good job and relaying that. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Little Wolf can hardly wait. Tonight he will howl at the moon to the top of the sky. First, Big Wolf demonstrates traditional howling form: AAAAAAAAAAOOOOOooooooooo. Then it's Little Wolf's turn. He's sure he is ready, but when the big moment comes, something happens. Something unexpected, something wild, something unbe-beep-bop-believable! Sisters Laura McGee Kvasnosky and Kate McGee have created a wonderful story about the importance of doing things your own way and being true to your heart when it swells with wildness and joy--Provided by publisher.
