I liked the plot a lot, especially for the age range that this book goes for. Just thinking about children who live in crowded places and take the subway to go places, it is a great book that children can relate to. There is a bird that Pax feeds each day, and on the one day that he doesn’t, Blue (the bird) follows him onto the subway. This is a realistic story line that could happen to someone. I also liked this book because of the illustrations. For example, when the bird was on the subway, there were two pages of people displaying their feelings. Such as them saying, “Shoo!” and “Ick!” But there wasn’t a big fuss until the next page when everyone found out that there was a bird on the subway! The main idea of this story is showing children that it’s okay to help show people what to do when they aren’t sure. ( ) I really enjoyed reading Pax and Blue because of how strong the message is for students in elementary school. It is about a boy named Pax who loses Blue, a small pigeon, on the subway. I really enjoyed the illustrations of the book because students could visualize how small Blue was in such a busy place like the subway. I also think the illustrations showcased emotions very well for Pax who was extremely upset when he lost his friends. I think this book show students what friendship means and how people will do whatever they can for their friends in times of need. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
