Traditional telling of the Gingerbread Man.

The Gingerbread Man is a fictional, traditional literature story that involves an old married couple on a farm and a gingerbread man. The old woman is bored so she decides to make a gingerbread man for dinner but the gingerbread comes alive once he is out of the oven and runs away. The grandma, grandpa, cow, horse, pigs, and a hen all chased the gingerbread man to the river, wanting to eat him for dinner. The fox was the last animal the gingerbread man encountered and he tricked the gingerbread man into crossing the river with him and being eaten. ( )

I love this book! This was one of my favorite books as a child and I still enjoy reading it. This book show students a routine and steps. It also explains who the characters are and where the book is taking place. I would read this book and do a fun activity with the student afterwards. ( )
