Unlike many of these early books, this one felt like an episode of Trek to me, although much elongated (obviously). I really enjoyed the strong female character Dillard shoehorned in there, and especially the fact that she bangs both Kirk AND McCoy. A very good story about Romulan intrigue that has Spock suffering brain damage in a horrible fall. The resulting injuries leave him unable to use his Vulcan mind disciplines anymore, and finally must shamefully return to his family home, to attempt to relearn the Vulcan techniques. Beyond the good things about the plot itself, the story is remarkable for the focus on Vulcan family relationships, especially Spock's. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
