This was another fun read from Erin Kellison! Pilar Sol has found more than a just a business partner in her arranged marriage-she found love. Luckily for her new husband, she is one tough woman! I really like how Pilar is a strong and intelligent character who is unwilling to be undefeated. I really liked how the world building isn't overly dwelled on. The was more emphasis on the story and characters and less on how the ships ran. ( )

This sci-fi romance is also full of action, intrigue and a marvellous cast of characters. Like with all of the author's works, the details of the book's world, politics and society are intricate and well thought out. This is part two in the series, but very much its own story. I look forward to what comes next. ( )
