It's a good book and it deserved to win, I think. It avoided a few tropes I really hate in YA books these days: the psychologist was good at his job and actually helped, the parents weren't evil or bad they just didn't know how to deal with their daughter's problem, and the boyfriend didn't magically cure her. Compared to the last book I read, where the guy pretty much forced the MC to get over her fears, I thought it was handled really well in this one.
I have no opinions on the moving of Kiruna, but I don't live there so why would I? I visited it and the mines back in 2012 though, and I really enjoyed that. It was fun to actually have been where the book took place. :P ( )
