A memoir, a journaling, an exploration into beliefs and life changes, this book is all of that and more. Related in a snarky, humorous way, Valerie lets us see into her life and how she has managed to come out on top. It is not a bragging recounting of career achievements, but an explorative of reactions, and learning experiences, and the evolution of a personal perspective on certain life events. The best part, for me, is listening to the author, herself, recounting and snarking. She is an excellent writer, and she brings even more depth in her reading. ( )
