Gemma is embroiled in another escapade after her friend, Seth, is accused of a murder at Oxford University. The Old Biddies are also on hand to help along the investigation. It is a quick read and the mystery kept me turning the pages. I enjoy Lincoln's role as a rival for Gemma's affections but I like him too much to see him to get too romantically attached to her. Devlin is her one true love. I felt that the book lacked some of the spark and humour that I enjoyed so much in the first two. Gemma's hilarious mother is away on holiday for much of the story and I missed the extra light heartedness that she brings. Hopefully we will see more of her in book 4. I received a copy in exchange for an honest review. Another charming cozy murder mystery starring Gemma and the Old Biddies has the sleuths looking for the real murderer since they know Seth did not do it. In addition to suspects to investigate, a tearoom to run, pet cat Muesli to care for and a quirky mother add two men that are equally delightful but rather different and you have a fun story to entertain you while learning more about Oxford along the way. Each book provides another layer to the characters making them fuller and more fun and also creating a sense of knowing them that makes me want to know what will happen next in their lives. I wonder just who Gemma will end up with – Devlin or Lincoln? Thank you to the author for the copy of this book to read and review. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading book four. I do wonder what will happen next. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

When Seth is arrested for murder of a fellow professor, Cassie pleads Gemma to do her own style of investigating *to help the police*. It does look bad for Seth as he was overheard arguing with the Professor just hours before the murder. Even Cassie and Gemma start having doubts of Seth's innocence but they are still determined to help their good friend. ( )
