Perfect Family provides a perfect piece of light enjoyable reading - the characters have their problems but the supernatural aspects left me unthreatened by these problems - just interested in what was going to happen. A satisfying novella to read. ( )

I really enjoyed the magical element of this story. Bettison did an excellent job with the creative theme of this novella. I personally would have like for the characters to be developed a bit more. Overall, it was a relaxing read with a hint of suspense. Well done! ( )

Perfect Family by H. Lovelyn Bettison is a novella and just a few pages, Ms Bettison takes you into a family and a woman who so desperately wants the perfect family, she keeps things from her husband and really from herself. Once truths are told, and realizes that what she had had all long was what she needed, she finally was able to see that what she needed was right there for her. Kudos to Ms Bettison for not only is this a good story, but also makes you stop and think of what you have and what is important. ( )
