This was the first book that I've read in the series and didn't realize until I'd started that I had missed quite a lot, as this book is the last 1/4 of the full story. The Dark Fae have kidnapped Sammi in an attempt to capture Tristan. The Dragon Kings and the Dark Fae go to war, The attempt is to keep secrets safely hidden from the Fae.
The story continues as the war is not over, but Sammi and Tristan's part is ended.
I liked this small part, but now really need to read the beginning of the story to get full story and enjoyment. ( )
