So Max and Eleanor take their muse/neighbour relationship to the next level and she actually inspires him to write a better score and a new composition. But new obstacles arise and soon Eleanor realizes she may need to give up her dreams once again. Loving the humor and especially the banter between Max and Lily. Looking forward to peeling back her layers and seeing what makes her tick.

I received an Arc from the author for an honest review.

Dancing on a Moonbeam is a 3 part book. This installment is Part 2 and it continues as if there was not a break. This is a second chance romance and Eleanor has a lot of hang ups from her previous marriage. Max & Eleanor are attempting to continue on as if the kiss didn't totally send them off course. They are trying to find a working relationship and ignore the sparks.

I am totally into this story. The characters are more mature and the plot has a different tone than Kate's other books. Kate manages to bring in the emotions of not just Eleanor & Max and their relationship but also, those of Kate's daughter and the way she is feeling lost. The relationship between the daughter and Max is really as important as his relationship with Eleanor. Unlike a lot of series I read, in this case, it really should not be read as a standalone. You would miss way too much of the back story if you skipped Part 1.

I can't wait for Part 3! Plus there are a couple of characters that I think will be getting a book of their own. ( )
