So you can see, they missed NO TRICKS.

Art was pretty, but the story fell flat since like other Harlequin standard romances it had only the barest outline for the setting and little to no real embellishment of characters. ( )

As a manga I don’t think it does justice to the the book. I haven’t read the book either but I have read a multitude of mangas. And this one just seems a bit too abrupt and disjointed story wise. The story has potential but lacked flow.
