Little Bear is excited for Santa to come. He hears a few noises that sound like Santa, so he goes down stairs to check. To his surprise, it's Papa Bear drinking Santa's milk and eating Santa's blueberry muffins. Then, they hear another noise. It must be Santa this time, so Little Bear and Papa Bear go check to see what the noise is. This time it's Mommy Bear stuffing their stocking. All three wanted to stay downstairs to watch for Santa, but they all fell asleep. Santa still saw them, even though they were sleeping. ( )

This is a nice Christmas story. The bear family is having a hard time sleeping on Christmas Eve as they wait for Santa to arrive. I like that the mother and father are the ones that have the most trouble sleeping knowing that Santa is coming. It's a cute story that I think adults would enjoy reading to their children as much as their children would enjoy hearing it. In any case, I enjoyed it. ( )
