I find this series interesting since each installment is written by a different author. I could definitely tell that this one was written a little differently from the first. The character took on a more edgy feel and the descriptions were different. At first it felt like I was almost reading a different book until I started to get into the flow of the new authors style.

This installment seemed a bit rushed or like something was off. The main character was unraveling so perhaps I was experiencing her anxiety and how things needed to happen right now. I didn't like this one as much as the first, but it was still a fun read. I'm looking forward to the 3rd to see how that author handles things. ( )
