This is a really lovely picture book -- great art, nice through the seasons stuff, and perfect both for single parents and for having a special day with one child. It's one of those "awww" books. Love the diversity as well. Single grandparent, single father, single mother all represented. ( ) This book would be good to complete a shared reading for kindergarten or first grade students. This book has a ton of rhyming so would be great for introducing and helping to teach this concept. It goes through reinforcing the idea that two is enough for a family as it follows different children and their single parents/guardians, so also a great family structure book! This is a delightful, multicultural, rhyming book that celebrates the bond of two people. Two is Enough can be enjoyed by any caregiver and child, but will be especially appreciated by single caregiver families. "... Two is enough for a marshmallow roast, For telling the knock-knocks that tickle us most. ..." There is no end to the things that two can do! http://shelf-employed.blogspot.com sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

From playing in the snow to a rainy-day ride, to double-scoop treats and crash-landing in leaves, two can be the perfect number for creating life's memories. And two can definitely be enough for a warm family, full of the love, support, and comfort that every child needs.Whether a father and daughter, mother and son, or a grandparent and grandchild, two is enough to fill each season of the year with wonders, big and small. Author Janna Matthies' soothing rhyme and Merrilee Liddiard's warm illustrations of diverse pairs make this story perfect for encouraging a sense of acceptance, security, and community.
