Seaside Summers is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series. "You can always rely on Melissa Foster to deliver a story that's fresh, emotional and entertaining. Make sure you have all night, because once you start you won't want to stop reading. Every book's a winner!" New York Times Bestselling Author Brenda Novak "Melissa Foster is synonymous with sexy, swoony, heartfelt romance!" New York Times Bestseller Lauren Blakely In SEASIDE WHISPERS... Having a mad crush on her boss's son, Matt Lacroux--an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy--is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt's life is hours away from Mira's home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for. With hopes of becoming dean off the table, and too many months of longing for a woman who lived too far away to pursue, Matt's publishing contract couldn't have come at a better time. He heads home to Cape Cod on a brief sabbatical, intent on starting his book, and finally getting his arms around sweet, seductive Mira. A surprise encounter leads to white-hot passions and midnight confessions. The more time Matt and Mira spend together, the deeper their relationship grows, and the love and attention Matt showers on Hagen is more than she has ever dreamed of. But Matt's sabbatical is only temporary, and Mira's not saving his father's company so she can leave it behind. Will their whispers of love be enough for one of them to change their life forever?… (más)

Why is it so hard to review a Melissa Foster original? She brings heart, family and inspiration to the table with every novel that she writes, which for me is both a gift and a curse. A gift in that she brings "sunshine" and hope to some of the most emotional stories ever written. The curse for me is trying to write a review without giving the story away. Seaside Whispers provides beautiful settings, adorable romance and that sweet Foster trademark charm I can't get enough of. It's nice to get away without all the unnecessary hassle of travel. Escapism at it's best. ( )

Normally I would launch into the storyline and rehash my take on what happens in the book, but I wanted to start with talking about the whole series. The Seaside Summer series was the first full series of Melissa Foster that I had read. And it had been the most memorable series of every book I have read. And even though the author has delved into many difficult topics, Seaside Whispers is by far my favorite.

In Seaside Whispers Matt Lacroux is struggling with a bug life decision! Does he jump fully back into his life at Princeton and shoot for his dream of a Dean. Or does he follow his heart and grasp something he truly wants...Mira Savage and her son Hagen.

Being the child of a single mother, then getting a step father when I was 6; single parent stories have a very special place in my heart and I think they tend to be over looked. But this author has written such an enchanting story of a mother's love and protection and a man willing to step up to the plate and become a step father.

I honestly cannot express just how well written the story and the characters are. Truly, this whole series has been beautiful, but Seaside Whispers is truly the pinnacle of the series.

I give Seaside Whispers 5 stars.

BJ Harrison you are amazing. Your voice portrays these characters exactly as I expected them to be. You take characters that have feelings and brought them to life for me.

Melissa Foster…. Oh what you do to me. The heat, the passion, and the love are always amazing in your books. Seaside Whispers is no exception. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE all that what I really enjoy is the friendships. The Seaside Girls are absolutely the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I love how the open their “club” to other girls as they become part of the friendship circle. Of course there was chunky dipping, helping Mira achieve her goals, and support with every aspect of life.

The relationship between Matt and Mira was sweet. They’ve been flirting through text and occasional visits for over a year and when he decides to take a sabbatical for 3 months their relationship takes off. Matt didn’t just have a relationship with Mira he had a relationship with Mira and Hagen, Mira’s 6 year old son. The way he accept and included Hagen in all they did warmed my heart. I could understand how Mira was anxious about just letting Matt into their life when his plans were to leave again. Hagen and Mira both fell in love with Matt and him leaving would shatter them.

I loved the ending. Theresa is hilarious. Bella, one of the Seaside Girls, has pranked Theresa each season and Theresa gets the last word this season. I laughed so hard as tears fell because the moment was just so sweet and wonderful. I see a future with many more pranks. ( )

No matter the context this was on sexy, hot professor and a single, sassy mother. I have to give kudos and more to Melissa Foster. She gives a beautiful written story with each new offering. I have over the course of this last year fallen in love with her characters from the complete Love in Bloom multi-series series. Each new couple have the own individual struggles, needs, desires, hopes and dreams. This one was no exception.

I fell head over heels in love with Mira and Matt. Mira stole my heart because of her sense of self and her soft pride and respect for who she was and what she wanted. Matt, Mira and Hagen have a place with me. It was their interaction with each other that gave the setting a bit more. Matt and Mira both were dealing with a lot of things and the gradual growing relationship gave a bit of stability to their friendship. Having both sides of their perspectives shared made the story that much more enjoyable. We were able to get down to the heart of things.

Melissa Foster has a way with the dual POV that makes you want to step in and get more out of it all. You see more than just the surface of things. You can see the heart of it all and the deep emotional affects that go with them. I have said it many times before and will say it again. I will continue to read more of her work and get just as much love, compassion, passion, emotion, and more from each one. Just in a different way with new characters and situations.

This book is part of a continuous series but in no way are you hindered by that aspect. The was a fully complete read that did not require you having any prior knowledge of the previous books. I will tell you that you will fall in love. With the story, the characters, the child. ( )

Matt + Mira + Hagen = Perfect family!! Matt & Mira have been flirting with dating for years. Matt is a professor at Princeton & is only there for short visits. Mira is afraid to fully commit since she doesn't want a long distance romance. Mira's son, Hagen, loves Matt & they do a lot together. Matt has come home for a three month sabbatical to write a book. What's going to happen when they are close for more than a few days at a time?

Loved Seaside Whispers!! Matt's relationship with Hagen was an integral part of the story & in my opinion, made it something special. The writing was special & descriptive enough that the sparks between Mira & Matt seemed to jump off the page. Mira's concern for Hagen & his emotions wasapparent & I loved how easily Matt shifted so that was one of his concerns too. This is a wonderful addition to the series & can easily be read on its own.
