His Forbidden Princess by Jeannie Moon is a great story. Sophie has known from an early age that she can never escape her station in life. There will always be unexpected situations that will have be endured and dangers that she will have to face. The one time that she was able to just be herself, not Princess Sophie, she lost the love of her life when her identity was revealed. Ian and Sophie never got over each other. Now faced with danger once again her first love Ian is the agent assigned to protect her. Can these two find their second chance? I love the twists and turns this story took. Wonderful second chance story!! Great writing makes this one so enjoyable. Even though it is a novella length story, the characters are well developed and the pace of the story is perfect. Excellent afternoon read.

Eight years ago, Ian and Sophie were young, in college, and very much in love. Both their worlds are shattered when the startling fact that Sophie is in fact a princess and must return to her country is revealed. Neither has ever forgotten the other and when her life is in danger Ian knows he is the only one who can keep her safe.
