What a cute and creative book! It is about a mouse, Sophie, who helps her mom at their bake stand at the Maple Festival. Sophie is happily playing with her friends until she realizes that no one is coming to her mother's stand. She then uses her creativity to encourage customers to check them out. This is a good example of fantasy because who doesn't like a good talking animal story?
Uses: This is another one I would have in my library for 3rd or 4th graders. It's an easy read, but challenges the creativity of its readers.
