Daisy claims she isn't afraid of anything and has her friends "dare" her to do new and more frightening things to prove her bravery. Eventually they dare her to steal the bell from the cat's collar - which she does.

Man, I hate to be a big stick-in-the-mud but it seemed like each of the antics were rather foolish and in the book they were only rewarded. Now normally I criticize books for being too "preachy" so I hesitate to even mention this. But it really wasn't that cute or that funny so.... I am. ( )
