The Coat of Many Colors is a great bible story. It tells about young Joseph and his life. It has a good ending to it, a happy ending. These brothers did a bad thing to Joseph, but he stills forgive them at the end. I would recommend this book to be in a classroom for school and also a classroom in the church to teach about forgiveness. ( )

The Coat of Many Colors is a great bible story. It tells about young Joseph and his life. It has a good ending to it, a happy ending. I would use this in grades 2 to 4 in a bible group or religious school. I would use this in teaching because the ending shows that anything can happen if you just believe.

This is a condensed version of a classic bible story with Joseph and the beautiful coat of many colors. Joseph had dreams with visions of him ruling and being an important powerful person. He bragged all the time to his brothers, who were fed up with them. One day the brothers tear off his coat, beat him, throw him in a well, then sell him as a slave. He eventually helps the king out in the story and becomes rich. His brothers meet back up with him and they learned from their mistakes learning not to be boostful or envious. Kids that are religious or just have lots of siblings can relate in a way to this story. ( )
