This book is about the bonding between and young girl and her grandmother during her summer vacation. She talks about her favorite part if being with her grandmother is when she get to ask her questions about the name quilt; her grandmother tells each person on the quilt. this is a good book to teach kids about family time; show them that family time can be the little things like someone tucking you in at night or helping to get dressed for school, etc. ( )

The name quilt was a good little children’s book. It showed how even though the family took a small lost, they didn’t let it affect them. The grandma was just like as long as we’re okay, that’s all that matters. But, on the other hand Sadie was upset because she slept with the quilt every night. That was something she was accustomed to at night for when he grandma told her stories. But it seemed that in the end they didn’t need the quilt because she had already knew all the stories, they were apart of her memory. Stories from grandparents are the best memories because they know everything from their time of living, your mom’s time and your time. They can tell you about just about anyone in your family. ( )

This book is about a little girl, Sadie, who spends time with her grandmother. Her grandmother has a name quilt that she tells stories in generation to Sadie. The quilt is blown away in a storm and Sadie is worried. She learns that you don't need a name quilt to tell the stories, it's not about the physical things, it's the memories. Good book for children to learn that physical things don't need to be important to remember, it's the memories that last forever.

this is about a girl who everynight was tucked into bed with a quilt that had family names on it and she would say a name on the quilt and grandma would always tell her a story about the name.one day they hand washed clothes and the quilt put them on a line to dry. then the girl and her grandmother took a walk when all of a sudden a windstorm came in very fast. the quilt ended up being blown away but grandma was still able to tell her stories when asked a name. one day the girl decided they should make a new name quilt and so grandma did and now the girls name is on the quilt and she one day can tell her wind story about the name quilt.
