What started out as a deal quickly became a friendship that conquered monsters. I killed, but I escaped hell. Emotionless. Disconnected. Cold. A mannequin. Here we have the third book in this series and it is Haven's and Crisis' story.

Haven as we learned in book two is Ream's twin sister that he thought he had lost forever. Haven is emotionally damaged after events in her childhood, events so dark and twisted I wouldn't know how anyone would of survived.

Crisis is the playboy in the band and he is the biggest flirt and manwhore, but I think underneath it all as you get to know him, this isn't all he truly is.

Crisis takes it upon himself to befriend Haven, as he feels like he can truly help her face all her demons.

This book is really a dark, emotional, heartbreaking read. There are times where I wished I could reach in to the book and just hug Haven because of what she had been through.

Crisis is a man who knows what he wants and he goes the right way of getting what he wants.

I loved this story, Nashoda is a fantastic author who never disappoints. I cannot wait to see what Kai and Raven's book entails.

I found this book to be a very deep and at times a very moving novel. It is the 3rd in the series, and I was a little lost at the beginning as I've yet read the previous 2, but I stuck with it and all fairly quickly became clear.
Haven is the twin sister of Ream, Tear Asunder rock band member. She had been held captive and made to suffer unspeakable acts for several years, her only way to keep her sanity was to mentally block the surroundings from her life. Now she has her freedom at last but still Haven is tormented, her mind can't seem to let go of the fears and still feels trapped.
Crisis is a fellow band member. He has the bad reputation as the bands man-whore, and Ream doesn't want him any where near his sister. Crisis on the other hand see Haven as a broken, beautiful woman who has hidden strengths, she just needs a guy to boost her confidence and to make her feel safe again, so she can heal properly at her own pace. He believes he's that guy.

I really enjoyed this story and intend to read the previous books I'd missed. I highly recommend it and rate it 5/5 ( )
