I thought the watercolor illustrations in Daddy's Busy Day were especially sweet. It's a good little book for stay-at-home dad families, but it's also a good read for any kids, so they can see what different families are like. The best part: the little girl's green pajamas with ears on the hood. So cute!

Daddy’s Busy Day, written by Miriam Cohen and illustrated by Ying-Hwa Hu is a wonderful picture book for stay-at-home Dads – and their children, of course. Follow Daddy and his daughter from the time Dad makes oatmeal for breakfast to when Dad falls asleep reading a bedtime story. Sweet. Simple. Colorful. Sure to be a hit for both Dads and their children. Ms. Cohen is the author of many other children’s books – I’m guessing they are all as delightful as this one.
