I am really liking the Seaside Summers books, with the people we brushed over in Read, Write, Love, we finally get to know all about them in this series one at a time.

Tony is hot as are all Melissa Foster's male characters, he could have any girl he wanted but he only has eyes for Amy and Amy feels the same way about Tony, they did date once but after a horrible event they broke up and have just been friends for the past fourteen years.

Can they put it all behind them and start anew?

Now I have to say WOW, this has got to be one of my favourite books of the series, it is so emotional but it also has the right amount of humour in it too.

I will not be giving away any spoilers to this but I will say it is a fantastic read, which great characters who will pull at your heart strings and you will feel like you know them almost completely by the end of the book.

I would recommend that you all read it, it can be read as a standalone book but I would say read the entire series because it's just great. ( )

Seaside Secrets by: Melissa Foster is an exceptional story. The main characters experience an emotional rollercoaster on the road to finding their way back to each other. There was heartache, anger, love, understanding and redemption along the way. Beautiful story. Sometimes you have to let go to find the path you are supposed to walk. Tony and Amy's story is a must read. Can't wait to read the rest of this series. Received an ARC for an honest review.

This book is Melissa Foster at her best. Amy & Tony have a secret. They've been besties for a long time & everyone thinks they'd make a cute couple. They all know that Amy has been in love with Tony forever. However, there's a tragedy in their past that they just can't get over. Amy has a job opportunity that will force her to move away so she decides to give Tony one more chance. Tony has been in love with Amy since they were teenagers. He's hoping they can get beyond their past to create their future together.

I loved this book! It has great characters that invoke the reader's sympathy from the beginning. The plot & dialogue touch the reader's emotions - happiness, grief, despair, anger, passion, sense of family. All are represented in various parts of the story. This is a great addition to the Love in Bloom series!! ( )

So finally we get to Amy and Tony’s story and all I can honestly say is “WOW! I didn’t see that coming!”
So we start with Amy, Tony and the rest of the gang for drinks before Jamie & Jessica’s wedding. Amy has to decide if she wants make a huge change and accept Duke Ryder’s job offer and leave for Australia, because after years of being separated from the man she loves, she has decided that she needs to move on with her life. But before she actually says decides, she wants to try with Tony one last time; but he tells her, her loves her live a friend and to go to Australia.
Tony is in love with Amy, but its buried deep and covered by anger and confusion. When he tells her to go, he is left feeling like he is screwing up the biggest and most important part of his life.
Now this is Amy’s last summer at Seaside and she tries to clear the air with Tony, but she has already erected the walls to protect herself and Tony defiantly feels the chill. But it doesn’t stop him from watching out for her, even if it makes him feel like a stalker. Tony tries to get Amy to sit down and talk, to let him explain why he is not the man worthy of her, but past hurts arise and you are left wondering, will this be the end of the summer of love at Seaside.
As always Melissa Foster blows me away with her characters, writing and the plot! This story literally blew my mind, made me cry and kept me gripped till the end of the book, even though my heart was breaking.
I give Seaside Secrets 10 out of 10 and recommend that you keep a box of Kleenex with you, as you will need it.

This is a fantastic read that is very well written and has a group of characters that feel like your new best friends. This is the story of Tony and Amy and their journey to find their way back to each other. After a youthful relationship that ended badly, they have both wanted so much more. They both have secrets and past hurts to deal with, but if they can get through what happened in the past, they may just find the future they both dream of.

This is a good one and I highly recommend it. ( )
