I was torn between a 3 or 4-star rating. I decide on 4 because it is a really engaging book. Once I got started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It's short, but still really good. This series has been marked as erotica, but this book was pretty light on the sexy time. Which gave some more focus to the story. I'm fine with it either way but it's nice to know that I enjoy the story just as much.
This one was with a different set of people again while still staying tied into the main story. The main thing I'm not sure I care for is this bonding aspect of the book. It takes away from the romance when it takes away their choice, and that bothers me. If the bonding was something that happened only after both their human and bear sides choose each other, that would have been better because then a choice was there.
The end of this book finally resolved an issue that has been ongoing since the first book. There is still plenty of issues left to address though so I'm interested to see how that plays out and who the next pair up with be.
How I choose my rating:
1* Hated it. I had to force myself to finish it.
2** Didn't like it. I didn't hate it but not sure why I finished it other than for some closure.
3*** I liked it. I had some issues with it, but as a whole it was good. I probably won't reread ever, but there is a chance I might finish the series. (If part of one) But if not it's not a huge loss.
4**** I really liked this book. Maybe not a work of genius, but highly entertaining. I might reread this, and I will finish the series. (If part of one) I would recommend to those I know hold interest in this book's content.
5***** I loved this book. I found little to no issues with it at all. I will be rereading this and probably more than once. I will finish the series and reread it multiple times. (If part of one) I will recommend this book to EVERYONE!!!! ( )
