Wade won’t cooperate by staying away from her either. Helping out April’s family with the farms chores while April’s parents are away for a few days is Wade who grew close to April’s family when they were dating in high school.
Every time April sees Wade whether on the ranch or running into him in town brings back memories. All Scott wants to do is hunker down and work on his school assignments. He refuses to participate in any of the fun activities taking place in town over the holidays.
I liked how the author showed the true city slicker personality played out in Scott and how inflexible he was. I thought the depth of growth in Wade and April’s characters showed maturity also. One of my favourite characters was Ben and I really liked that the author tried to include Ben in all the activities possible.
I’m glad April came home to face her past before she went forward to face her future. I gave Feels Like Love 5 stars out of 5.
Thank you to the publisher for providing a copy of the book in exchange for a fair and honest review. A positive opinion was not required. All thoughts are my own.
