This book was amazing, I can not WAIT for book 2! The author has woven a tale that is both exhilarating and heart wrenching. We get to see the use of psychological gifts, a mystery to be uncovered, and a childhood romance being kindled again. I was instantly drawn into the story and was so involved in the characters lives that each shock, each death, each new obstacle felt personal to me. Stories like these are the ones we love to read because we are so fully immersed in the story, it's almost hard to re-enter the real world. Warning, there is a cliffhanger at the end of this book, so reader beware. But for me it only served my desire to have the next book to read as soon as possible. I would also like the thank the author for not only sending me a copy of her book to read, but also including several bookmarks and signing the book for me. I will treasure it. ( )
