This was pretty good, not sure what the Animal Man-Green Arrow bickering was about, but it went away eventually. I love space stuff and this definitely went there. Looking forward to volume 2. ( )

It's a good start to Justice League Canada, I mean United. It's sounds like a soccer team but this justice League book feels like a new version of old series R.E.B.E.L.S. There's not a lot of exposition to this book. It throws you into the action and keeps going from there.

Lots of interesting stuff in this TPB. IT starts with Dr. Adam Strange seeing out Stargirl and Animal Man who happen to be doing some sort of autograph session in Toronto. His ‘assistant’ Alanna got beamed into the sky and he seeks out the heroes to help him save her.

Of course, it doesn’t wind up being quite that easy. They run into a guy (who’s definitely not nice) named Byth who is trying to create a supervillain from scratch called Ultra.

And back on Earth a young lady named Miiyahbin is having a bit of trouble as well, but she gets a chance to get herself out of it.

It was an interesting start to what maybe could be a different sort of Justice Leauge? We’ll see I guess.
