Magnificent biography of a leading philosopher of religion and spirituality. Huston Smith knew and worked with everyone who was of importance in spiritual thought. Dana Sawyer has managed to explain complicated concepts in a way that an intelligent lay person can comprehend them. Highly recommended for anyone interested in religion, the value of mystical experience and the perennial philosophy. ( )
