A practice for the Praxis is something that I consider essential and needed (since, while my program prepares me to take national counseling exams, it may not have much regarding state licensing tests like the Praxis, which my state requires for school counselors). However when I got this ebook (which is only avaible in ebook format, a disadvantage in my mind), I expected so much more. All the book is, really is general test taking tips, one chapter devoted to my test (but it only lists things that I should know, it doesn't explain them, for example general terms like "Confidentiality"--but what am I to know about confidentiality), a practice test (helpful!) and explanations to the test (which would have been wayyyy more helpful to me in a printed version, the ease of looking back to earlier problems is much easier with a book in hand). After the explanations of the answers, I was expecting more in depth explanations of the subject areas--imagine my surprise when, at page 80 (of 108), there is no more book but appendices! :(

So, I guess if I were to try this again, I would probably not spend the extra $25 (I think) it cost for this ebook. ( )
