I liked the story. It had great characters, a twisty storyline and plot that kept me guessing to the end. I read it fairly quickly to find out the 'who dunnit' bit. However, I did struggle a bit with the way it is written and some of the formatting. Cannot put my finger on it really, but it felt that each chapter, told a bit and moved on, told a bit and moved on; and the chapters are fairly short. To put it another way, I knew it was a story and I was being fed relevant information for the plot to move forward, but I did not really believe in the characters because they were there for the story and did not have much depth or interaction apart from keeping the storyline moving. Saying all that I would probably read another book by Patrick Hurley. ( )
