When Grey Bunny is put out as the Easter shoppers come to the pet store, he feels he is special because of being grey. When all the white bunnies are taken and he is left alone, he feels it was because he was too different. As the store owner is going to take him home, he is forgotten outside the store in the rain and must find shelter. Monica wants a bunny for Easter but her dad has been to all the pet stores in town and cannot find one. What will he do?

I liked this story. Little Grey Bunny feels what we all feel at times--that we are so special it is natural to feel as though everyone will want us then we find out we're not what others want so we feel bad about ourselves. He also is forgotten by the store owner and must make his own way to shelter in the rain. I felt bad for him them. I also felt bad for Monica. It does not look like she will get her bunny. I wish I could step in and arrange an adoption for the two of them.

This is a darling story with that happy ending I wanted. I look forward to more from this author. ( )

Little Grey Bunny: Children's Picture Book (Bedtime stories for children)
Illustrated very colorful children's book about a box of bunnies and one day people come to the pet store to get a bunny of their own.
Most of them are white but there is one grey bunny who feels very special because of it's color. Nobody takes him and the owner carries him in the box when the store closes.
A storm outside and the man forgets about the box and the bunny is on his own......
Other books by the author are highlighted at the end of the book. ( )

Drawings are so nice and such a sweet story. Sad at the beginning with happy endings. Shows you that sometimes dreams can come true if you wish hard enough for them to.

Such a pleasure to read, writing so clear. ( )
