I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I am not a person who likes to give too much away about the books I read, it ruins the story for others. I can wholeheartedly say this is an enjoyable read. An outrageously entertaining read. Drew me in from the first page and never let me go. (

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book was one that kept me up all night reading it to the end. I loved the characters and storyline. The author does such an amazing job about describing places, sounds, etc that you have a sense of actually being there and a part of the story. Can't wait to read more from the author. (

3.5 Stars for this light romance between two strong, likable characters. It was fun to read. If I had to take a break from reading, when I returned it was like I had never stopped. Even though it was predictable at times, it was a cute story and easy to follow. The ending was very uplifting so I finished this novel with a very nice feeling!!

Mostly set in Italy, it was great to read about some of the tourist stops. Since this author is quite adept at describing locales, I could easily envision myself being there. Overall, an enjoyable read!! (

Quick read for anyone who enjoys mildly cheesy romance novels. The character of Mallory is almost overly southern, and at times, reading his charm can be overbearing. However, it's a fun read. Recommend for anyone who enjoys books by Sophie Kinsella. (

Anyone wanting to feel good when they finish a romantic love story will enjoy this sweet book. The story of Amy and Mallory, who connect online to share the expenses of a trip to Italy that should have been Amy’s honeymoon, is one that is well written and believable. The setting is lovely, the characters well developed and likable and the romance slow to develop, but steamy. Family plays into this story in more ways than one and is central to why Mallory ends up more and more drawn to Amy. I would gladly read more books by Barbara Lohr. (
