As I read this story of Rachel Morgan, a junior in college who is facing some tough decisions, I realized that once again Barbara Lohr has focused on family interactions and how important they are in telling Rachel ‘s story. Rachel is home for Christmas and during her semester break she realizes her family really needs her. Rachel’s mother is unwell, her younger brother on the verge of joining the wilder set at his high school and she sees Eli Housman in a completely different light from that of nerd-geek he held when they both were in high school a few years before. If you are looking for a good story of young love this just might be the one for you to read this holiday. ( )
