Painting Flowers on Rocks is my favourite of Lin Wellford's rock painting books. I've never been particularly fond of her painted animal rocks, but the bright colours and more geometric shapes of the flowers are both more appealing and (I've found) easier to work with. All of the projects in this book are beautiful and inspiring; however, they all seem to be fairly large and involved projects (with the possible exception of the primroses). I would have liked to have seen some smaller, simpler painting projects included as well. ( )
