Just when I thought that the Intergoogle had made hardcopy manuals obsolete, I got this out of the library. If you are about to upgrade to Windows 8.1 (and I recommend that you do, despite the bad press it's gotten), this book will get you up to speed.

But more important, by reading through it at the breakfast table, you'll discover great features you'd never have discovered on your own. For example, I had no idea I could turn on a File History feature, and have Windows store different versions of the files I modify. It's like Windows Restore but for all my documents.
