The Slight Edge is a way of thinking, a way of processing information that enables you to make the daily choices that will lead you to the success and happiness you desire. Learn why some people make dream after dream come true, while others just continue dreaming and spend their lives building dreams for someone else. It's not just another self-help motivation tool of methods you must learn in order to travel the path to success. It shows you how to create powerful results from the simple daily activities of your life, by using tools that are already within you. In this 8th anniversary edition you'll read not only the life-changing concepts of the original book, but also learn what author Jeff Olson discovered as he continued along the slight edge path: the Secret to Happiness and the Ripple Effect. This edition of The Slight Edge isn't just the story, but also how the story continues to create life-altering dynamics--how a way of thinking, a way of processing information, can impact daily choices that will lead you to the success and happiness you desire. The Slight Edge is "the key" that will make all the other how-to books and self-help information that you read, watch and hear actually work.… (más)

As others have pointed out, maybe a little repetitive on the main idea; but then again sometimes that’s what our minds need to really grasp it. I think I did, and the Slight Edge opened my mind to new possibilities; but also, made me realize the ways on which I’ve been doing this already on some areas in my life. Excellent addition to anyone’s personal development library. ( )

As far as motivational and
educational self-help books go,
this one has got to be
one of my favorites,

for it offers so much wisdom
and so much knowledge within it
to its passionate avid readers
it's incredible.

I barely finished it,
but for some reason
I want to read it
again and again,

and that's something
that I probably will do
in a very near and
not so distant
future.

The author of this book
has done an outstanding job
and trust me when I tell you this,
his brilliant writing, his wisdom,
and his knowledge regarding
what he likes to implement
in his life and likes to call
Slight Edge will have you
intrigued from the beginning
of the book all the way
until the ending
of the book.

And that's not the best part,
each chapter contains various
important parts taken
from the chapter
and personal stories of people
who have used knowledge
of Slight Edge to their own
advantage and somehow with
help of the principles mentioned
within the book completely changed
and transformed their lives
from worse for the better.

And because their stories seemed genuine
and not far-fetched at all, and because
the author has really done
an outstanding job
with sharing his
knowledge
and included his daughter's
wisdom in it,

I can't help but give it
the highest rating possible,
and I can only hope that
my own words and this truly
humble book-review convinces
you to give this truly
great book a shot
someday. ( )

This book is essentially a self -help and self-development book of a different kind. Instead of affirmations and meditative exercises this book shows you how little things you do or consequently do not do on a daily basis can change your life in a major way through the long term. ( )
